Terms of service

What we do

We write Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign copy for independent online shops: the words and a send plan. We don’t design, build or send your emails or texts, and we never need a login to your accounts.

The free opener

When you send the start form, we write one Black Friday subject line, preview text and a short opening for your shop, based on your public website, and email it to you within one business day. It’s free, it doesn’t commit you to anything and it’s yours to use whether or not you order.

Packs and prices

Prices are flat, in US dollars, paid once by card on Stripe’s checkout page:

• Starter, $247: 4 emails (early access, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, last call), 3 subject lines and preview text for each, and send dates and times. Delivered within 48 hours.
• Full campaign, $497: 8 emails across the two weeks around Black Friday, 6 texts matched to the emails, 3 subject lines and preview text for each email, and a send calendar with segments. Delivered within 48 hours.
• Campaign + flows, $897: everything in the full campaign, plus a sale-week abandoned cart flow (3 emails), a post-purchase thank-you flow (2 emails), a January win-back flow for sale-only buyers (2 emails), and site banner and popup copy for the sale. Delivered within 72 hours.

Every pack includes one revision round. If you want to move to a bigger pack after paying, tell us in the brief or by email and we’ll settle the difference by email.

When the clock starts

The delivery time starts once we have both your payment and your completed brief. The pack arrives as one document, by email, at the address you give in the brief.

On time or it’s free

If your pack isn’t in your inbox within the stated delivery time (48 hours, or 72 hours for Campaign + flows) after we have your payment and brief, we refund you in full and you keep the pack. See the refund policy for details.

Your revision round

Send your notes within seven days of delivery and the revised pack comes back within 24 hours. A revision round refines the pack you received: tone, wording, details, dates. It doesn’t cover a new brief, a different offer or extra pieces; we’re happy to quote for those.

Early-start bonus

If you send the start form within 72 hours of your first visit (measured on your device), any pack you order includes one extra email: a December “last day to order for Christmas” send. The bonus has no cash value.

Your part

• Give us accurate information about your offer, dates, products and prices. We take these from your brief and your site and never invent a discount or a stock claim. Where a number needs checking, we mark it in the draft.
• Read everything before you send it. You decide what goes out, and you are responsible for the final emails and texts, including that your offer, prices and claims are accurate.
• Follow the email and text-message rules that apply to you. In the US that includes the CAN-SPAM Act for email and the TCPA for texts: send texts only to people who agreed to receive them from you, and keep the opt-out line.

How we write

We use AI to draft campaigns quickly, and a person edits every email and text by hand against your site before it reaches you.

Who owns the copy

Once you’ve paid, the pack is yours: use it, edit it and reuse it as you like. The free opener is yours either way. We may keep a copy in our records, but we won’t publish your pack or name your shop as a client without your permission. The sample campaign on our site, for the invented shop Tallow & Thimble, stays ours.

No promises about sales

We work hard to write emails that sell, but results depend on your products, your offer, your list and many things outside our control. We don’t guarantee any number of opens, clicks, orders or revenue.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a pack is limited to the amount you paid for that pack, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can’t be waived.

Refunds

Our refund policy is part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to your order.
